Nick has worked in the IT and security industry for over 10 years.
From his early career of building and supporting large global networks, meant he has gained considerable system, OS and protocol experience in diverse environments that enables him to understand the technical and operational restraints, and work with clients to secure their networks and systems efficiently and swiftly.
High Quality Delivery
Over the years, Nick has performed hundreds of external and internal penetration tests, vulnerability assessments, application tests and specialised security services to both private and public sector clients.
This involved assessing client networks, systems, software and security policies using a range of tools, methodologies and experience to produce comprehensive reports that includes current security posture and associated risk reduction recommendations.
Nick has a proven track record of managing and successfully delivering large, complex and bespoke projects smoothly, meeting and exceeding both the technical and business requirements of clients within the delivery time frame.
His communication and client facing abilities means that he is able to relate and translate information to a technical and non-technical audience. Nick has passed the CREST Infrastructure Certified Tester exam, and has previously gained DV security clearance.
Extensive Personnel and Project Management Experience
Managed, supported and developed a team of 20 penetration testers. This included providing training, software development management and advancing operations.
Over 7 years of security consultancy & 3 years of sys admin of multiple global networks
IT security advisor to a major system integration and managed services company. Tasks included scope creation, security assessments, project management and remediation support
Led multiple complex assessments, including large government infrastructure security reviews and mission critical ASP .NET web application.
Nick graduated from Oxford Brookes University with First-Class BSc Honours in Computer Systems.
