The marine environment may seem far removed from the process industries, but the equipment used on board ship nowadays can be strikingly similar. Much of the equipment is industrial and speaks industrial protocols. Is it possible that there might be some similarities for cyber security as well? Are there any lessons to be learnt – or taught?
