Job Summary
We are seeking an analytically minded and detail-oriented Technical Resource & Scheduling Coordinator to manage the operational delivery schedule across our technical service lines. These include Penetration Testing and Governance Risk & Compliance (GRC). In this role, you will bridge the gap between commercial scoping and technical execution, mapping client requirements and Statements of Work (SOW) to the appropriate technical skill sets, certifications, and availability of our delivery team to ensure project delivery and optimal resource utilisation.
- This is a 20-30 hours per week.
- Salary: £25,000 – £35,000 dependent on experience
Responsibilities:
- Validate incoming scheduling cases to ensure work orders and scopes across delivery teams are not missing information before scheduling.
- Match consultant skill sets, clearance levels, and certifications to engagement requirements to ensure appropriate technical alignment.
- Act as the initial communications links between the technical team and clients, determining their preferred dates and scheduling constraints, whilst ensuring excellent customer service and client satisfaction.
- Coordinate and collaborate with the Sales team to keep them informed of scheduled work.
- Monitor and track the progress of scheduled work, ensuring that projects are delivered within agreed-upon timelines.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of scheduled work, client preferences, and consultant availability using appropriate scheduling tools or software.
Experience:
- 2+ years of resource scheduling, project coordination, or operational management within a cyber security consultancy, IT services, or technical professional services firm.
- Working understanding of core cyber security disciplines, delivery lifecycles, and testing methodologies.
- Ability to interpret technical scopes of work, anticipate delivery blockers, and resolve scheduling conflicts under shifting priorities.
- Confident communication skills with the ability to work with commercial teams, technical consultants, and enterprise client stakeholders.
- Strong organisational skills with a keen eye for detail, including the ability to multitask effectively while maintaining accurate scheduling records.
- Strong customer service orientation with a commitment to delivering a positive client experience and maintaining professionalism under pressure.
- Hands-on experience with scheduling platforms, such as Salesforce, SAP, or Jira for example.
